Make Every Day Happy For Your Self

Daily life can be made happier. It is a matter of choice. It is our attitude that makes us feel happy or unhappy. It is true, we meet all kinds of situations during the day, and some of them may not be conductive to happiness. We can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, and we can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, relish the happy moments. All of us constantly go through various situations and circumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions and feelings.
If we let outer events influence our moods, we become their slaves. We lose our freedom. We let our happiness be determined by outer forces. On the other hand, we can free ourselves from outer influences. We can choose to be happy, and we can do a lot to add happiness to our lives.
What is happiness? It is a feeling of inner peace and satisfaction. It is usually experienced when there are no worries, fears or obsessing thoughts, and this usually happens, when we do something we love to do or when we get, win, gain or achieve something that we value. It seems to be the outcome of positive events, but it actually comes from the inside, triggered by outer events.
For most people, happiness seems fleeting and temporary, because they allow external circumstances to affect it. One of the best ways to keep it, is by gaining inner peace through daily meditation. As the mind becomes more peaceful, it becomes easier to choose thehappiness habit.

Here are a few tips for increasing happiness in daily life:
1) Endeavor to change the way you look at things. Always look at the bright side. The mind may drag you to think about negativity and difficulties. Don't let it. Look at the good and positive side of every situation.
2) Think of solutions, not problems.
3) Listen to relaxing, uplifting music.
4) Watch funny comedies that make you laugh.
5) Each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.
6) Watch your thoughts. Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.
7) Always look at what you have done and not at what you haven't.

Sometimes you may begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. At the end of the day you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven't been able to do all of those things.
Look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. You may have accomplished a lot during the day, and yet you let yourself become frustrated, because of some small things that you did not accomplish. You have spent all day successfully carrying out many plans, and instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. It is unfair toward yourself.
8) Each day do something good for yourself. It can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching you favorite program on TV, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.
9) Each day do at least one act to make others happy. This can be a kind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroad to let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or giving a small present to someone you love. The possibilities are infinite. When you make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make you happy.
10) Always expect happiness.
11) Do not envy people who are happy. On the contrary, be happy for their happiness.
12) Associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. Remember, happiness is contagious.
13) Do your best to stay detached, when things do not proceed as intended and desired. Detachment will help you stay calm and control your moods and reactions. Detachment is not indifference. It is the acceptance of the good and the bad and staying balanced. Detachment has much to do with inner peace, and inner peace is conductive to happiness.
14) Smile more often.

Give your bathtub a natural edge

Follow these tips and get the lustrous hair you've always wanted

We all have had some frightful bad-hair days sometime or the other. And all of us strive to stay away from it. However, 'perfect hair' is elusive and is something that is only visible in magazine glossies! Everyone – be it a man or woman, a youngster or an oldie - aspires to have manageable, satin soft, silky and glorious hair. Here are a few pointers you need to keep in mind that will help you achieve it.

Wash it right
Though many of us shampoo our hair daily, experts insist that washing hair a few times a week is sufficient. Sometimes skipping the shampoo helps hair retain shine, especially of the shampoo is teeming with chemicals. Those who apply shampoo daily should apply a conditioner first. Then, without rinsing in between, apply shampoo just to the roots, lather, and rinse everything out. This way you have a clean scalp and shinier hair.

Don't use hot water
Rinsing hair with cold water closes the cuticle, making each hair surface smooth and shiny. Never use hot water to rinse your hair. Hair stylist Perry Patel says, "It is not very good to use a blow dryer on a very hot setting." Experts say that it is wise to look for hair dryers that don't give off too much heat.

Never forget the serum
"Do you forget to wear clothes after you are done showering? Then how can you forget to apply hair serum?" asks hair expert Javed Habib. The serum is like a raincoat on your hair say experts. Products with silicon seal the cuticle and create a barrier between styling tools and hair, reducing friction and limiting heat damage. But don't go overboard with it for then it will fall flat and look greasy.

Brush well
Daily brushing and styling can take a toll on your hair, robbing them of natural oils and leading to breakage. Trade in your plastic brush for one with natural bristles, which redistribute oils throughout hair as you brush, boosting shine.

Avoid chemicals
Alcohol based products, chemicals in random hair products, pollution and excessive humidity robs hair of its natural shine. If you have very dry hair opt for a good quality hair cream.
Everytime you watched a movie and saw the actress walking out like a goddess after a relaxing bubble bath, would you sigh a little, thinking, "Wish I could do the same?" Well, here's good news. These rejuvenating sessions can be enjoyed at home and you can make a bubble bath with natural ingredients.

Bubble bath is the technique of bathing by using foam on the surface of water (essentially in your tub).

Bubble baths are not just about spending a fortune on liquid soaps and bath mixtures to add to your tub. One might not be very familiar with this, but by using the right kind of essential oils and natural ingredients, you can make your own mixture of bubble bath.

Cosmetic physician Jamuna Pai says, "An important ingredient in bubble baths is essential oil. Essential oils add the scent to your bubble bath. Use these sparingly, as you only need to use several drops to get a pleasant effect. But one should be careful before using them. For example, there are some essential oils such as marjoram that should never be used by pregnant women. It is best to consult a dermatologist before using them, in case of skin allergies."

Various essential oils can add different fragrances to your bath. Dr Pai suggests that coconut oil, when used in bubble baths, provides a wonderful nutty and floral fragrance to it. Even almond oil for that matter is virtually unscented. Adding half-a-cup of either almond oil or coconut oil to your bubble bath will soften your skin tremendously.

Ways to enjoy a bubble bath:
- Make sure the ambience is right. Decide to have a bubble bath on a day when you are not tied up and aren't expecting guests at home. Switch off your phone, burn aromatic candles, and play some music in the background.

- Turn on the water in your tub. Make sure you choose the right temperature for the water. You wouldn't want to scald yourself by stepping into a tub of boiling water.

- Put the mixture of your bubble bath accordingly so that it can create the right amount of foam for you to enjoy your bath. Once the tub is filled, turn the water off.

- As you are in the tub, breathe slowly and try relaxing. Please be careful that you do not sleep off in the tub because of this rejuvenating mode!

Natural ingredients like essential oils may prove to be extremely useful for the skin. But even then, make sure you don't always use them. Not only is it time consuming but also, if used incorrectly, they can ruin the experience for you. Dr Pai says, "There's nothing wrong in using the natural 'kitchen wonders' for having a bath. But for hygienic purposes, it is better to use a soft wash with a soap-free shower gel on a daily basis."

Good tips for Women's good health

Feeling tired and exhausted all the time? Tanya Datta speaks to experts to find out the right solutions for you.

You are young and full of life, yet by the evening you feel that you have no energy left in your body. All you dream is to get back to your place and simply crash on your bed! This does sound familiar to you, doesn't it? What you are undergoing is basically a stressed out life schedule which leaves little to no time for yourselves. You are deprives of sleep, exercise, fresh air and sex.

Reports suggest that exercising on a regular basis helps ward off laziness and depression. Fitness expert, Deanne Pandey lays emphasis on moving your body and being a little more active, "A person should at least do some physical exercise of about 45 minutes a day. For working women it sure becomes a little problematic to go to the gym, but they can do simple things like climbing the staircase or maybe taking a stroll in the evenings." Exercising on an already tired body is a no no according to her.

With these fast food joints springing at every nook and cranny, it becomes impossible not to dig into the 'ohh so tasty, but not healthy' junk food. Easy to cook instant food are an added disadvantage for working women, for whom it serves a blessing in disguise. Dietician and sports nutrionist, Dr.Dipshika Aggarwal gives a clear picture to what is right and wrong to eat, "Food can be categorised mainly into two categories—re-energising food and energy draining food. Things like watermelons, carrot and potatoes are considered to be good for the body since they help in rejuvenating our bodies, while fried food, caffeine and spices drain out all the energy." Drinking has never harmed anyone but that means water and other natural drinks and not alcohol. Atleast two litres of water a day is required for human body lest you want to feel exhausted, says Aggarwal.

Everyone is busy all through the day and complain that they do not get time for themselves. But yoga acharya, Utkarsh Sanjanwala says that taking out 5 minutes out of your hectic schedule is not that difficult, "One of the greatest stress buster is to chant 'Om' either in the mornings or during nights for two to five minutes everyday. This will help you to calm down and align with the universe." He adds that there is no right or wrong way to chant this and with time you will be able to do it in a much better way.

With marriage comes a lot of responisiblity. It is more tough for women who are married to juggle between home and their workplace. It is the support from the family, spouse or friends that acts as a great stress buster. Psychologist, Dr Chandni Mehta says, "Women these days are dividing their time between just her family and office. She needs to pursue a hobby or do something that she really enjoys. Another thing that a women needs to keep in mind is her mood swings which may go up if she does not realise her pressure points. For instance, if a woman knows she losses her cool during a traffic jam, she can then focus her attention on something else. Basically the key is to master your emotions."

How To Get Perfect Body Shape Just Like Celebrity ?

As we all come in varied shapes and sizes, it makes sense to adapt our fitness regimen to suit our figure. What's the point in bulking up your legs if you already loathe your chunky thighs? Likewise, when you wish for toned arms, there is no point in wasting time doing endless sit-ups if you already sport a neat midriff. So check yourself out before a fulllength mirror, determine your body type and read on.

Hourglass
If you're an hourglass, you're likely to have a narrow waist with a wellproportioned upper and lower body. And if you gain extra pounds at all, they're likely to go straight to your hips. An hourglass lady such as Mallika Sherawat looks amazing, purely in terms of vital stats, and for her, the secret to looking good is toning up without building huge muscles.

Activities such as pole dancing or belly dancing will encourage those with an hourglass shape to use their core strength and tone the tummy area. If you want to lose excess weight, running on a treadmill or on a cross trainer would be perfect. In the gym, 10-15 reps of squats, lunges and pushing and pulling exercises would increase the metabolic rate and burn extra fat. Another easy way to raise your metabolism is to eat more chillies!

So adding fresh chillies, chilli powder or flakes to dishes will give you a fine daily dose of an active chemical called capsaicin, which increases our calorie-burning rate.

Pear
You are probably a pear if you're not quite an hourglass because you're smaller on top and yet you have pronounced hips. A pear shape's hips are slightly wider than the shoulders and if you gain weight, it goes straight to the hips and thighs. Pop stars such as Shakira and Beyonce are both pears, and so are Bollywood's darling Madhuri Dixit and our very own munni Malaika Arora Khan.

Pears need an exercise plan that will reduce excess weight on the lower body while building up the top half. To tackle a chunky bottom half, cycling would do the job and for the top half, using the chest press or shoulder press at the gym will broaden the shoulders. A healthy diet is crucial too - because calories from junk food will go straight to the hips and thighs, making you look even more out of balance. Snacking on fresh fruit and nuts and drinking lots of water is a good way to target thigh-fat. Fresh nuts are also rich in essential fats, which can limit fat storage.

Ruler
If you go straight up and down, like Anushka Sharma or F.R.I.E.N.D.S star Courtney Cox, you may be a ruler shape. This shape has slender arms and legs and there is little difference between the size of the hips, waist or shoulders. But if you gain weight, it goes to the stomach or bum, and puts you at risk of 'dairy bottom', which is a fat bottom caused by eating excessive dairy products. Rulers must opt for cow's milk alternatives such as soya or oat milk. Nut and seed butters can be used as spreads instead of regular butter. For exercise, ruler shapes need a balanced workout that covers all muscle groups. Experiment with any exercise that takes your fancy such as horse-riding or line dancing. Cardio activities will target any excess weight in problem areas such as the stomach or bottom.

Square
If you have a large waist and shoulders, then you're likely to be a square, like Rani Mukherjee. To add more symmetry to your shape, squares need to focus on the lower body and shoulders, for which swimming is a great exercise. Half an hour of swimming or repetitive squats and lunges by using equipment like a leg press at the gym should do you good. Shoulders can be worked on by doing press-ups and pull-downs. Scientists have proven that people who gain weight on their upper body may suffer from an imbalance of the sex hormones estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, and for them, a diet high in phyto-estrogens, would help get the balance right. These substances can be found in Soya products as well as in chickpeas, lentils, rye beans, alfalfa beans and flaxseeds.

Apple
If you have a large chest and a bit of a tummy but with slim hips, it is likely you are an apple like Ayesha Takia is. If you gain weight, it is likely to go around your waist. For the appleshaped, managing stress is key. But yoga or pilates can make you relax.

Stress is enormously disruptive to blood sugar levels as it makes you overproduce the stress hormone cortisol, which in turn leads to excess abdominal fat. Eating little and once in every two to three hours is the secret. Adding a little protein to every small meal and snack is vital. Try an egg for breakfast, fresh nuts or hummus for a snack, a bean or lentil soup for lunch and grilled fish for an evening meal. These foods will provide a good daily dose of protein and keep your blood sugar levels steady.

The more stressed you are, the more weight you carry on your upper body. Hence, this shape should focus on resistance training rather than cardio.

How To Care In The Monsoon Tips

Rainy days and windy breezes… sounds like something out of a Yash Raj film. Well, not really. In reality, the monsoons mean soppy, dirty clothes and ruined shoes. But this season doesn’t have to be.
Here are some fashion must-dos to keep you at your trendiest even when it’s pouring outside.

What to wear?
Always keep your hemlines shorter. Think cigarette pants, capris, knee-length skirts and work shorts. Leave your extra-long trousers at home, for now.

Choose fabrics carefully. Slightly heavier-weight fabrics that won’t go transparent are your best bet. Experiment with new fabrics; especially nylon-based, good quality pieces that are water resistant.

It’s also worth investing in a water-resistant spray that provides a protective coating for clothes.

The right accessories
Leather, suede or fabric shoes and accessories are strictly off-limits, this season. Opt for shoes made of PU - easy to keep dry and clean. Carry a pair of heels in your handbag, wrapped in plastic, so you can slip them on right before entering a party.

Tame your hair
Hair always takes a beating with frizz and dampness. Tame your tresses by using a light serum. Wash your hair frequently as any dirt in the hair will pull more grime your way. Similarly, keep hair products light.

Day & night looks
Heavy traffic and minimal visibility makes it hard to stop home for a change out of work clothes, before you head out. How can you take your wardrobe from night to day? Here are some easy ideas. Play around, find your signature style and get going, girl!

1. For work: A knee-length dress with a well-cut blazer will keep you dry and warm For play: Remove your blazer, add a statement necklace and change into killer heels.

2. For work: Slim pants with an over-sized cardigan dries easily and looks office-chic For play: Switch up the pants to a sequined skirt and add a waist belt to cinch in your cardigan.

3. For work: A brightly-coloured kurta with tan capris are good for casual Fridays, For play: Change into a knit top and shimmery shrug to take you straight to the weekend party scene.

Most importantly, bright colours and sparkles to your clothes and accessories is the perfect antidote to grey weather. Don’t let a downpour dampen your mood this season. It’s easy to look your best!

What Is Love ?

The meaning of love

Love is not about what you take or get. Love is about the beneficences you give with nothing to lose. Just give away without hoping in return. If you love, you should happy when you give. Don't worry about the return that you'll get, because what you give is what you will get. Falling in love is not about the other person. Falling in love is about you.

If you want to be a happy couple, practice your love

With love, you can be a happy couple. If you want to be a happy couple, you should love yourself, your couple, & your God. Here are the love trilogy concept for you to be the happiest couple in the world:

1. Love Yourself

Love your self first before you love somebody else. Love yourself, and you will do & take all the good thing for you. And also, you will leave anything that useless for you. If you love your self & you want to get married, ask your self:
  • Who is the right person for me?
  • Does he/she have good attitudes? So, I never feel worry about our future relationship.
  • Will he/she care for me?

2. Love Your Couple

If you love your couple, think about what you should do to give the best for your couple & family. If your couple hurt you, ask your self first, what did you do that make your couple hurt you? Then, ask your self, what should you do to solve this problem?

3. Love Your God

Realize that you & your couple is only a human being who can become different & die. For example, now, he is handsome, in the future, he becomes an old man. Now, he is alive, in the future, he becomes a dead man. Vice versa with she. Don't worry about that. I bring a good news for you who have a God. God have created anything pair. He has created man, He also created woman. He has brought you to life, He will also bring you to dead. So, don't be worry, He have create anything pair for you. You should love your God above all. God bless you.

5 Tips To Improve Your Relationship

Women are the leaders in the relationship. Men know it better than women do. A woman can change the tone and energy more easily then they realize… and it’s fun to watch a man respond.
The quickest way to shift the energy in the moment–and as the primary way you interact with each other–is to remember that beneath the surface, down in his and your hearts, is a desire to be loved, accepted and appreciated.
If you open your heart for a moment, let go of the hurt and resentment, and imagine loving energy being exchanged between you, you will instantly shatter any negative feelings. That’s because it’s not possible to hold love in your heart at the same time you’re feeling anything negative. If you choose not to do this, I would invite you to look at why. That would be a good topic for coaching.
Here are 5 fun and easy ways to instantly improve your relationship:
1) Instead of complaining, whining, or raising your voice, speak softly with clear, concise, respectful, gracious, beautiful and loving language.
How do you do that? Before you “react” stop for however long you need in order to calm yourself. Walk away, explaining that you need to collect your thoughts before continuing. Remind yourself that you love each other, open your heart to his, and allow those negative feelings to dissipate.
Next, plan what you want to say. Sometimes I even write down what I need to communicate so I remember what I need to say. Then, when it’s time to talk about it, I ask that I be allowed to finish before he speaks. You’ll be surprised how well this works. He’ll stay open to what you need to say, you’ll be heard, and if you continue throughout the conversation as two people who love each other your relationship will begin to blossom.
And don’t start out with, “We need to talk.” That strikes fear into the heart of every man. Instead, ask, “I need your help with something. Do you have time for me to share?” Big difference because men like to help solve problems for the woman they love.
  • The benefit to you? You will get his attention, his cooperation, and his respect.
  • Why does it work? Men need clear, concise, unemotional language to be able to hear you. Otherwise, they shut you out completely. And we all know how good they can be at doing that.
2) Look for ways he makes you happy and let him know… regularly. Some examples might be: “It makes me happy that you like solving problems for me,” or, “You make me feel wonderful when you tell me you love me,” or, “It makes me happy that you help with the kids…and they love it.” One of the chapters in my book, Men Made Easy is titled: “Why Men Are Driven To Make Women Happy.” Letting him know you’re happy makes him feel successful. He needs that and you can give it to him.
  • The benefit to you? He’ll start looking for more ways to make you happy.
  • Why does it work? If you’re not happy he feels like a failure and men hate to fail.
3) Appreciate him often, especially for his masculine qualities and those things you know he likes about himself, things he’s proud of.
Examples could be: “I really appreciate what a nice home you’ve been able to give us. I don’t think I tell you enough,” or, “I love how strong you are. I like watching you work,” or, “The way you make love to me is so perfect, mmmmmm.”
  • The benefit to you? He’ll fall in love each time you do it and you’ll make him feel like a hero. (The last secret in Men Made Easy is “A man wants to be with a woman who makes him feel like a man.”)
  • Why does it work? Men compete with other men and need to measure up. You can validate his worth as a man.
4) Give him romantic kisses instead of pecks. Long hello kisses tell him you’re glad to see him, long good-bye kisses tell him you can’t wait until he returns, long thank-you kisses tell him you really appreciate what he did for you, and “hey you, kiss me” kisses tell him you want him.
  • The benefit to you? He’ll feel more connected to you and look forward to being with you.
  • Why does it work? Physical connection is the only way most men know how to be intimate and physical intimacy is what makes your relationship special from all other relationships.
5) Flirt with him. Be playful, tease him, say slightly naughty things once in a while, and gaze into his eyes with a “come here, big boy” twinkle.
Why do we think we can quit doing the things we did when we were first falling in love? The relationships that endure are those where the couple stays “in love” and have fun together. That means flirting, being playful, being sexy and sensual, and remembering why we fell in love in the first place.
  • The benefit to you? You’ll both feel younger, friskier, and more in love and you won’t end up in divorce court.
  • Why does it work? Flirting is a kind of play and playfulness helps cement your bond.
If you do all these things on a regular basis, you can repair a lot of damage and bring back the in-love sparkles. You can look at this as work or you can look it as fun. It’s all in your desire and your attitude. Remember, you’re the engine that runs the relationship.

Love Improve Your Relationship

Are you feeling you need to improve your relationship? You may think this will require you to do more for your partner.  Many of us, especially women, put others’ needs before our own. We constantly feel like we’re trying to hard and the other person isn’t truly appreciating us. We eventually resent those who have been on the receiving end of our love and attention. Putting yourself first can make all the difference. And, no, it’s not selfish. In fact, you can’t really meet other people’s needs without first meeting your own, creating balance for yourself. Loving yourself is the most important foundation for having a loving and satisfying relationship with another.
If we, women, constantly ignore our basic needs, we drain ourselves of energy, only making the situation worse. We realize that our own needs are not being met, and we become resentful, withdrawing the help and support we so freely offered to others before. But if we put ourselves first from the get-go, we’ll actually end up with more energy to share.

You’ll Improve Your Relationship!

I’m going to give you some really easy-to-follow tips for loving and taking better care of yourself.  These will keep your happy energy overflowing, fulfilling the life of those around you as well as yourself. Everyone wins when we learn to love ourselves. It’s the surest way to improve you relationship.  Let’s get you started:
Improve your relationship by living a healthy lifestyle – The first step to accomplishing great things is meeting our body’s most basic needs. You’ll feel new energy simply by replacing excess sugar and refined foods with whole foods and lots of water. Also, daily exercise increases your metabolism, keeping your whole system running smoothly. Make sure to get plenty of sleep, which won’t be hard if you’re eating well and exercising.  If you sleep fully, your brain will recharge itself fully.
Improve your relationship by expressing yourself – To keep yourself connected with your mental state express how we feel. You can do this in lots of ways. Keep a personal journal for the things you don’t feel you can share with others. Use this too vent, and you’ll find your negative emotions ease up a great deal. Creative expression is important too.  If you’re into movies, allow yourself to feel and experience the wide range of emotions in a movie, or start making your own work, invest in a hobby that’s close to your heart.  Photography and other visual arts are good for this.

Improve Your Relationship by Spending Time Alone

Before you can love yourself, you need to know who you are.  And you need to get to know who you are on your own.  Spend a little time being introspective, figure out what makes you tick, what makes you unique.  Discover yourself and learn to love it. You don’t need to go on a solo vacation to do this, though if you have the time, that’s a great investment.  You can also just take a long bath. Go for a drive or just quietly meditate. You have to appreciate your own company to feel truly assured that everyone else does as well.  And the relaxation will do wonders for your state of mind and your relationships.
Improve your relationship by pampering yourself – Finally, take the time to treat yourself on occasion. Go to a spa, get a manicure, or tickets to a concert or event. Create more opportunities for fun and happiness in your life. By allowing yourself to splurge and live it up now and again, you’ll realize the goodness others feel when you are able to help them.
I hope these tips help you love yourself and Love improve your relationship.
